IMULAN BioTherapeutics, LLC is a privately-held bioscience company pioneering precision immunomodulators for major challenging diseases, including atopic dermatitis in dogs, feline stomatitis, and infectious diseases.  IMULAN is developing first-in-class biologics for major market indications and is already in late stage development for treatments for atopic dermatitis in dogs (allergic dermatitis) and stomatitis in cats.  Our technologies target central regulators of immunity, thereby permitting a comprehensive approach to intervention.

These peptides modulate T-helper cell function and are being evaluated and/or developed for canine atopic dermatitis (atopy) and pyoderma, canine dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM), feline stomatitis (gingivostomatitis, lymphocytic plasmacytic stomatitis), and feline and canine infectious diseases. TCR peptides have been shown in numerous studies to restore (normalize) immune function. IMULAN has developed a new TCR peptide diagnostic for canine atopic dermatitis. This diagnostic proposes to better establish the diagnosis of atopic dermatitis and screen patients for treatment with the TCR therapeutic peptides. IMULAN has created an ELISA (enzyme linked immunosorbent assay) which, in a recent study, showed a highly significant (10-fold) increase in atopic dog titers versus non-atopic dogs. The ImSAIDs® are naturally occurring, orally active amino acid complexes that modulate the innate immune response to reduce inflammation without the side effects of steroids and non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. The ImSAIDs reduce the over-activation of leukocytes, and therefore have very broad applications. ImSAIDs® are being evaluated for IgE-mediated inflammation, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), feline asthma, stomatitis, osteoarthritis, and sepsis.
